Aquala Williams is the founder of  WAID CARES, where she leverages her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies to equip young women with tools, mentorship, and resources that foster self-awareness, confidence, and leadership.  

Alannah Carr is the Lead Student Mentor for WAID CARES and a Howard University student studying Communications and Advertising, dedicated to helping young women build confidence, and develop leadership skills

Patricia Gilliard serves as Strategic Advisor for WAID CARES, offering valuable perspective and strategic guidance to help strengthen programs, build partnerships, and advance opportunities for young women and their communities.

Raven Joiner serves as Community Engagement Advisor for WAID CARES, leveraging her experience working alongside community organizations to foster partnerships, and advocate for positive change.
